The official purpose of the Guild is to enhance the appreciation and understanding of literature and media communication for Salve students. This blog allows students an outlet to express their inner thoughts in an informal, friendly enviroment; encouraging creativity and growth through helpful comments left by fellow students and friends.
The English Guild was founded in 2008 as an acedemic club for Salve’s two English Major concentrations, Literature and Communications. Striving to intergrate students in other majors, the Guild currently works with Salve’s Theatre and Music acedemic clubs, Stagefright and SMEC respectively, sponsoring events such as a monthly Open Mic Night.
